User Safety
How can I keep my wallet and NFTs safe?
You can store your NFTs in your Metamask wallet. However, the safest way to store your NFTs is to store them offline through a cold wallet. Ledger wallet is an excellent example of a cold wallet that you can buy to keep your crypto and NFTs safe. The Ledger wallet is the best hardware wallet for securely storing your NFTs. It is an aesthetically pleasing, highly secure, and simple-to-use cold-storage hardware wallet. It also keeps all your login information offline, reducing the risk of being compromised.
Never share your wallet's secret recovery phrase. Nuqtah is not a wallet provider and will never ask for your wallet’s secret recovery phrase. Please write it on a piece of paper and keep it somewhere safe.
Never click on unknown or broken links. When using social media or Discord to communicate with others or browse the web, exercise caution. Don't click on any ads, pictures, or links sent to you by unidentified people.
Use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Use apps like Google Authenticator and Authy to enable two-factor authentication, and avoid SMS 2FA whenever possible because it can be vulnerable to attacks.
Is there an NFT copyright law?
Copyright law does not give an NFT owner any rights unless the creator takes affirmative steps to ensure it does. Ideally, this can be achieved by executing a standard, formal copyright license to the work connected to the NFT.
What happens if someone uploads work that isn’t theirs?
Please do not list any work that was not created by yourself. Uploading other people’s content without their permission will result in being penalized and or banned from Nuqtah’s marketplace.
